"we'll always have paris?"?

long story short, my friend and i just went on an amazing school trip together through europe and ending in paris, but now i am moving to a different school. would it be appropriate to have the main phrase/theme of the birthday gift i'm about to give her be "we'll always have paris," or does that phrase mainly have the connotation of two people in a relationship? because obviously we are just friends, but i thought that the general sentiment would be right... suggestions?
