When to stop working?

Insurance company doesnt want to pay!!!?

I was struck by an uninsured driver on 02-10-11. Because the driver who struck me was uninsured I was forced to file a claim with my insurance company(Omni Insurance). The car was towed to CJ's collision at 6128 n beechwood Philadelphia, pa ,19138 on 02-11-11. Phone number 215-848-2836. On 02-14-11 Omni insurance sent out an appraiser to evaluate the vehicle. They then faxed an estimate on 02-15-11 totaling $5300 to CJ's collision shop. I went to the collision shop on 02-15-11 to sign paperwork giving them permission to work on my car. They then began the repairs. On 02-18-11 the insurance company then deemed my car a total loss. The vehicle is a 2005 Nissan Altima SL with 96,477 miles. The NADA value for the vehicle is 10,995. According to Omni insurance a car is deemed a total loss when the repairs reach 70% of the value of the vehicle. Omni insurance valued my car at 7,415. They then proposed a settlement offer of 5826.40. They deducted 975.00 in prior damages(which I disagree with) and 1000.00 my deductible. The settlement offer included 386.40 in sales tax. After negotiating on 02-28-11 they proposed an offer of 7835.30. The value they gave my car was 9255. Again 975.00 was deducted and my 1000.00 deductible. They including sales tax and tags/registration fee in the offer. I accepted the offer out of desperation because they also stopped paying for the rental car I was driving on 02-28-11. I work, attend school and have a child my schedule requires that I have a car so I paid out of pocket for a rental car until 03-07-11, expecting the payment to be issued to my lien holder by then so I could purchase another car. I contacted them on 03-07-11 inquiring about my payment and was informed they did not pick the vehicle up from the collision shop therefore they were not issuing a payment. The collision shop gave them a bill of 1750.00 for the repairs they did and the storage fees. The insurance company disagrees with this and refuses to pick the vehicle up and issue my payment. They have also stated this may come out of my settlement offer. The insurance company already has the title to the car and all the necessary paperwork to the vehicle but refuses to issue a payment. It has been a month since I filed my claim and I can no longer afford to pay for a rental especially since it seems I will have to purchase a new vehicle. The insurance company is low balling me and also forcing me to pay for repairs they approved then backed out of.

My cat seems to tolerate the steel comb the best because it slides through his fur almost imperceptibly, but every cat is different. I tried rubber bristled brushes, slicker brushes, grooming mits...anything I could find. It helps if you have someone to help you. I have my hubby scratch our cat under the chin and talk to him while I groom him, and then we give him treats afterwards.

7 month old son sometimes acting aggressively?

I guess my question is is it normal for a 7 month old to begin tantrums? If he's being held and wants to get down he flails his arms around and pulls at my hair and swats at my face. For the most part he's very compliant and happy, this happens usually about once a day though. If I'm trying to get him settled for bed and he doesn't want to settle he hits, pinches and pulls. He's not in daycare, he's usually only with me and my husband and sometimes my mother and MIL. I'm not sure, but it sounds like she might be bipolar or be going through a really hard time right now. Either way, my advice is to stay away from her. My experience with people like her is that you become their only friend. Then they latch onto you and expect you to fix all their problems, and become really high drama. Then you can never get away without them feeling like you're abandoning them. Again this is just my experience with these kind of people, (and it's happened to me a few separate times.) but it usually turns into more drama than it's worth.

I like being a waitress better than what I went to college for. Is this bad?

I have my degree as an Occupational Therapy istant, but I actually enjoy waiting tables & bar tending more. People can not seem to understand this. It seems fine, but I'm not so sure about all this sugarfree jelly. I would substitute about half of it for some fresh fruit or veggies. Also, instead of the carton of processed orange juice, try the same amount of water with freshly squeezed oranges. A good diet not only has low fat but also a variety of foods- eating the same stuff all day will do absolutely nothing, no matter how little you're eating. And the question if you're losing weight or not- do that for a week, and weigh yourself. If you lost weight, it's good and it works. If not, see your doctor or nutritionist because there may be other factors influencing your weight.

I've had as most would call, a traumatic childhood. Now, I am recently going through some unexplainable medical extremities. For example, almost three years ago, I had Papiladema behind my eyes, and was treated with a lumbar puncture. Again, they saw this again, and diagnosed me with Pseudo Tumor Cerebri. Later, they found this to be incorrect. I was sent to UCLA. As time went on, the incapacitating headaches continued to rule my life before they dispersed and now do not affect me. Last year, December 11, I ped out at school. I was found unconscious on the floor of a public restroom. I was taken to the ER and they found everything to be normal. Again, I ped out in my 7th period cl, just randomly, mid-sentence sitting at my desk. Therefore, we took a trip to the ER. This time, I had an expedited trip to UCLA Medical center. There I was given an event Holter monitor to wear. I exceeded the proceeded wearing time and wore it (authorized) for 52 days with no result. They then ruled out VasoVagal disease of the heart. Just a few days ago, awaiting to begin (at a marching band tournament); I fell to the ground unconscious. I did not arouse for almost a minute. There is even more to this, but I cannot fit it all. Could all of this be stress related, or be from mental and physical damage from such a childhood?

Finding a job while I already have one?

The hardest thing about looking for a job when you're unemployed is the thought of what you're going to do if the money runs out. It's really not easy to find a job when you already have one. Of course you want to keep the details from everyone including your coworkers, because some employers will immediately terminate upon finding out you're preparing to leave. They seem to do this to prevent attitude contagion. Put aside as much money as you can as a buffer in case this happens, and keep doing what you're doing. Maybe an HR manager here and there will stay late, so it shouldn't hurt to explain your situation ("I am currently employed") and ask if they would mind a non-traditional interview time. My daughter just turned 4 months old. Her sleeping patterns are much different than my first born (I knew it wouldn't be the same) and I was just wondering how many hours a day your babies sleep and then what they nighttime sleep is like and do they still get up a few times a night to eat? Husband not as happy on lowered adderall dose?

My husband started on 10mg xr adderall 4 months ago after years of antidepressants that never worked. It has been really life changing for him and for our marriage. However, he lost a lot of weight at first and he was very skinny to begin with. So he has switched to the sr which makes him able to eat more. He has always had severe issues with his weight as far as wanting to be bigger but yet was so stuck in ADD and laziness that he refused to make himself anything to eat. At his last visit he asked for his dose to be even lower, 5mg from 10mg. I have noticed a pretty big change in him so far. He has less energy, wont look at me like he was in a loving, sweet way and is pretty snappy at times. He also will sit at the computer or on his iphone for HOURS playing stupid games. Could this be from the lowered dosage and that its not working as well for him? He just doesnt seem as happy at all since switching. I worry though because he would rather go back into depression than continue to lose weight. I take it as well and I know about the loss of appetite but I also know if I wanted too I could force myself to eat small meals. Plus there are tons of apps on the iphone to help with this. After work yesterday i took a nap around 3:30pm and i had a horrifying dream that my teeth were falling out it went like this "i was in my house walking around and i brushed my hair out of my face and tapped my lip, and my front tooth fell out, i ran to the restroom and tried to put it back and hold it but every time i tapped another tooth it would fall out, it was so pain full i could feel every bit and there was blood everywhere. The only cards that you need to flip face down are Deikotchi and Gravekeepers Spy. My boyfriend is a type 1 diabetic, with an insulin pump. He has recently become ill and has vomited twice in perhaps 12 hours. He has moderate ketones in his urine and a BG of 290. There is a cat living under my house, and it is a very nice cat that used to come and I would pet it and it would climb up in my lap. Then, I decided that it needed to go to the humane society, and so I decided to capture it in my dog kennel. This morning, I took out the kennel and called the cat. It ran out from under the house and I picked it up and tried to put it in the kennel. It freaked out and sped back under the house. We got a Toy poodle at the age of 2 months and we had her for a year and 6 months. She LOVES cats and other dogs, but just not big dogs. She mostly hates pit bulls but in LOVE with other dogs. I'm 19 and have been a social drinker for years so I think alcohol has affected me in the long term but I think there is something more serious going on with me. How can I find the will to live after being abandoned by my spouse?

I"m alone. Totally alone except for a teenage daughter who has her own life. The reason I'm posting is because I do not want to vent to my child (I'm her caretaker-she isn't my confidante or advisor) and because even though she doesn't show emotion, I know she is hurting because her dad left. We got separated a few months ago but he came home, coincidently when I received a lump sum after losing my job. Job hunting is bleak, money is low, my parents abandoned me as a child and my only source of pure love was my Nana. She died last year. My husband and I have been together for 15 yrs. He knows my history, life story and I bared all, shared my heart completely with him. I loved him like no other. He was my world and now he's gone. In 15 yrs I made 1 mistake and he forgave me (or so I thought) but he had his own ual encounter with one of my relatives recently. Immediately after this incident, he left me. But still kept coming around to see our daughter, get clothes, etc. His friend just died so I think he's facing his own depression and is at an odd stage in life. I forgive him for the incident as I was forgiven. What I can't stand is being in limbo. He's very blunt in saying it's over but gets mad when I resume a normal life (socializing, being out) Just yesterday I said I'd pick up a prescription for him but they closed so I panicked and started shopping to avoid coming home. I had to buy time to somehow explain. He got very mad at me and physically hurt me then said he was completely done with me for sure. (that made me think mind games?) He ransacked my purse and found some undies. Well for hygiene purposes at this time of the month, I take an extra pair. I also had another personal pleasure item hidden in my purse and he went berserk thinking I was using it and being with other people. I haven't even had thoughts of being with anyone as I'm so heartbroken so I was offended by his accusations. He told me his reason for leaving is "I never listen to him" as in follow directions. So he said he's letting me go to be a free soul. But I love him and I've never left him when he was unemployed and being a real jerk. Now he has a car, a job, and he split. One day he says he's not in love anymore then another day he's checking on me saying I'm still "his". I am baffled by his behavior and don't know what to think. All I know is he was the only long term person I had left in my life and I feel abandoned. It's bringing back childhood memories that are terrifying. I get panic attacks and feel like dying. Yet my daughter needs me so I have to live. If you see something I don't, please tell me! I'm usually intelligent, sensible, and love life but this relationship has made me clingy, insecure, and so anxious that I've taken pills to cope. Another flaw he sees in me but his pot is no issue because it's "natural". I just want to cope for this day and if there's anyone who's been through this nightmare and made it out ok or better, please say! I feel hopeless, worthless, unsure of the future. Especially with no job and a divorce. Why now? He could've left me years ago and I would've been in better mental shape. My few good friends call me randomly just to make sure I'm still alive. Sad ha? When I told him I felt like dying, he said "oh well" as if it was a histrionic move. The truth is it's a very real thing I feel now. He vowed to be there for better or worse and I would've never left him--I never did even when I had reasons to. How can I move on or cope--maybe see him differently so that I can survive another empty day??? I do things with my child but she has her own active social life and I'm not going to infringe on that due to my pain. I took care of everyone but now when I reach out, nobody's there. TTC girls, I think I have lost it...:(?

Sweetheart, take a breath.....calm down. I know it doesn't feel like it but it will be okay; you will be okay. I went through that a little over a year ago when it took me over a year to have my son. Every month I was so excited only to be crushed by negative pregnancy tests. Everybody around me was expecting which only made things worse. My hubby and I started fighting because things were so tense. Finally I got pregnant (and after a previous miscarriage). We had a beautiful baby boy in November. Can you believe I accidently got preggo again 7 months later and I'm 5 months along with another son. I know how hard it is to want it soooo badly and it not be happening. But honey, calm down and try to keep your head up. Also, I bought a Clear Blue digital fertility monitor. It shows a smiley face on your 2 fertile days when you should have and sad faces the other days. The first month I used this I turned up preggo! If you doc thinks its an imbalance, that isn't necessarily a big deal either. They can give you artificial hormones to balance you out. Get tested though so you don't have to keep wondering "what's wrong with me?!" Your beating yourself up for something completely out of your control. Big hugs and blowing baby dust your way. It will happen, you'll see!!!!!!!

It's good really! You have a good story on your hands. But before you right too much, you want to right down some basic information (from personal experiences), such as: what your characters are like, and just kind of get to know them. If you don't it will sound very uneducated, trust me. And when your writing, you don'y want to use trying-to-sound-sohpisticated sentences like the first one. A good way to rephrase that would be: The sight of first question placed on the test before, sends a sickly feeling to the pit of my stomache. But don't worry, our doing good. When I started writing (like two years ago) I used to write bland all the time like having 'I' at the beginning of every sentence. Try an exercise, by not using 'I' at the beginning of any of your sentences. It brings creativity to your, really. I'm thirteen, but hey I did start before you (: . Hope I helped.

Fussy newborn?

Doberman for my first dog?

I've never had a dog before, and I want a doberman pinscher from a real breeder, not a pet store. I didn't just wake up this morning and decide I wanted a doberman. I've done plenty of homework. I want a dog that will be loving with my parents and nieces, and when I have children, to love them as a part of the family. I've read several dog training books, and even Cesar Milan's be the pack leader. I also found cles at the YMCA that offer puppy training and socialization for 8 weeks, followed by advanced dog training for 7 weeks. I also will be taking my puppy to my sister-in-law's daycare and let him play with the children (under supervision of course) just to get him socialized while he's still a puppy. I have an average size house and a small yard, but I enjoy running and will take my dog with me when he's old enough, but will walk him every day, weather permitting. Do you think a Doberman will be a good first time dog for me?

This book, while not exactly what you're asking for, is probably one of the trippiest books I've ever read. It's (supposedly) true. You've got to come into it with an open mind. It's called THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS written by Jon Ronson. It deals with the Army's attempt at using psychic/mental abilities to accomplish things as self-healing, disrupting enemy tactics, etc. It's a fun read and a quick one too. And there's a movie being filmed right now based on the book starring George Clooney.

I run a small theatre group and for years we've been looking for somewhere for us and other performers to perform. I was out with a friend the other day, and i came across a practically derilct theatre. the bloke who owns it hasn't bothered with the place for years. However, the guy who owns it has (in the past) always insisted that it be used for a certain charitable cause, and the idea I have for the place doesn't fit in with these idea's of his. But then again, he doesn't use the place and it hasn't been used for about 20 years. I know this is going to be a case of slowly slowly catch a monkey, but have you got any suggestions of how to go about it? I thought of saying that I would invest all of my own money into doing the place up and donating 5% of all net profits to any charity/ cause of his choice, do you think that sounds condecending?
