Yes, there were no WMDs, no link with Al-Quada until *after* the invasion of Iraq, no connection between Iraq and 9/11, shifting reasons for the invasion (WMDs, democracy in the Middle East, prevent a civil war, etc.). The reality is that "W" has an inferiority complex and wanted to show up his dad for not "finishing the job" started in Desert Storm. Add to that a vendetta against Saddam for trying to inate the elder Bush. Of course the fact that the Bush family made a fortune in oil, Cheney made a fortune in oil, and Rice made a fortune in oil couldn't possibly have anything to do with a decision to invade the country with the second largest proven oil reserves on Earth.
