How do you turn a movie file from 50 or so pieces to 1 for burning to DVD?

I'm trying to download a Dora movie for my kids to burn to DVD but every copy is in multiple files. How do I turn them all into one file so that it will play straight through when I turn it into a DVD. Thanks in advance.
