Will lunges and squats make legs look feminine and y or bulky and muscular?

I want to lose fat in my thighs and gain muscle m. I just want to tone my legs but I want them to stay feminine (like say, Cameron Diaz's legs). Will doing lunges and squats burn fat? Or will it add too much muscle? I don't want to look too athletic.
