Do court marshalls get paid more $ then street cops ?

In Arkansas court security as they now call it is the task of the Sheriff's Office and in addition the court security people are actually Deputy Sheriff's, even though they wear a different uniform. So both the regular Deputy and the court security agent are paid the same wages the only difference being the deputies work a 12 hour shift and the court security agents work a 9 hour shift. Since both are sworn deputies and have the same training both are given equal respect.
